Interactive Services Award-Winning Compliance Training 2018 Stevie awards for great employers
Stevie winners will be announced at a ceremony on September 21 in New York
[Dublin, Ireland] – August 16, 2018 – Interactive Services has been named a finalist in the third annual Stevie® Awards for Great Employers, and will ultimately be named a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award winner.
The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements, and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work.
The Gold, Silver and Bronze placements among the finalists will be revealed, and the awards presented to winners, at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on Friday, September 21.
More than 550 nominations from organizations in 21 nations were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of HR-related categories, including Achievement in Workplace Safety & Compliance, Employer of the Year, Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year, Human Resources Team of the Year, and Employee Relations Solution Provider of the Year, among others. Interactive Services was named a finalist in the Training Programs or Media – Diversity or Sensitivity Training category.
In October 2017, the New York Times broke the Weinstein scandal. In the aftermath, corporate leadership sought to train their workforces on ending workplace sexual harassment with sensitivity, compassion and impact.
The team at Interactive Services looked critically at their own sexual harassment eLearning product, called Interactive Compliance Training (ICT), in the weeks following the scandal and decided they could do better.
Assembling an agile design team, the group worked to launch a new sexual harassment eLearning program in 20 days that would set the standard for teaching this critical subject.
The new sexual harassment eLearning program is part of a broader suite of 140 eLearning topics that covers areas such as Diversity, Inclusion that are rolled out to over 3,000,000 learners in 18 languages each year.
Mark Dorosz, Head of ICT, said today: “To secure a Stevie® nomination for an eLearning product we launched just 3 years ago is amazing. When we created ICT, we believed there was a better way to deliver training on sensitive subjects like harassment and discrimination – this is a fabulous endorsement for our production team and 100+ clients that rollout ICT since we launched the offering in 2015”.
More than 60 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
“The judges were extremely impressed with the quality of entries we received in the third annual Stevie Award for Great Employers. The dedication the Stevie Award finalists have to making workplaces great for employees was evident in every nomination,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
